Our Mission
YGC Central Texas is a youth basketball club in Central Texas and an affiliate of the YGC EYBL which has served over 1,600 student athletes through basketball and mentorship since 1999.
We are reaching out to community members that are interested in donating to local student athletes in the Central Texas area. Your support keeps our activities affordable for families that otherwise would not be able to participate.
YGC Central Texas yearly season includes approximately 300 student athletes who represent all ethnicities and live in the Central Texas area. They range in age from 8 to 16 years and must meet academic performance expectations. We participate in a ten month “season” of practices, league games and regional / national tournaments.
Shoot A Thon
Impacting student athletes and making a meaningful difference in their lives is invaluable, but somewhat expensive.
The costs associated with practice facilities, tournament fees, travel and coaching range from $125 – $350 per month per student athlete. Monies to cover these expenses are generated through monthly membership fees.
The parents of our student athletes believe so strongly in our club that they pay for the vast majority (more than 95%) of its financial needs.
YGC Basketball has been in existence for over 20 years led by our President Jeff Webster in Dallas, TX. We have also been blessed to see a few of our kids go on to play at the college level.
